Dr. Heather Evans is a native of Maine and has lived and practiced in the Bangor area since 2006 after she graduated from medical school from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.

She attended the University of New Hampshire for her undergraduate education, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Nutritional Sciences.

Dr. Evans has a strong passion for Health & Wellness. She first achieved her Board Certification in Family Medicine and went on to get a second Board Certification in Neuromuscular Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulation. She has served as Chief of Family Medicine at St Joseph Hospital in Bangor since 2012.

Over the past 14+ years of clinical practice, Dr. Evans has developed a passion for skincare and aesthetics. She believes that skincare and aesthetics complement her practice and bring these in-demand services to the Greater Bangor area. Dr. Evans is certified in Aesthetic Treatments and has trained extensively with multiple Aesthetic and Skin Care institutions throughout the United States and is excited to bring the best of these treatments home to you!

Dr. Evans prides herself in friendly, gentle, and safe treatments that yield beautiful & natural results!

In her free time, she cherishes spending time with her husband and their two young children. She also enjoys hiking, spending time at any lake or ocean, good wine, and quality time with friends.

Danielle is our amazingly talented licensed aesthetician offering traditional and advanced skincare, laser hair removal, and lash and brow tinting services in a holistic environment.

Skin health is her absolute passion. She is experienced in a wide variety of skin concerns and loves to help create custom treatment plans to help her clients in a luxurious environment!
Danielle holds a bachelor’s degree in Health and Wellness from Purdue Global and has been in the Aesthetics Industry for 12 years, graduating from the Aveda Institute in 2008. She was also recently voted

Bangor’s Best Aesthetician 2019! In her free time, she is an avid reader and movie buff and enjoys spin classes. She loves spending time with her husband her adorable dogs Chewy and Lilbear.

Botox and Dysport

As we age, we develop lines and wrinkles on our faces from repetitive use of our muscles used to laugh, smile, frown, concentrate, etc. While some welcome these lines that can show even at rest, others may not! At Tensegrity Health & Aesthetics, we are fully committed to helping you be the best version of yourself, by honing in on specific areas of your face that we can treat with Botox and/or Dysport. Some areas we can treat are the Glabellar lines, which are the area of skin right above the nose, and in between the eyebrows, Forehead Wrinkles, which mostly appear when your brow raises, Crows Feet on the side of your eyes, and lipstick lines which are vertical wrinkles right above the upper lip. This is why we offer Lumecca Skin Treatment.Lumecca by In Modeuses intense pulsed light (IPL) to renew blemished, pigmented skin. These blemishes happen as a result of many skin irregularities but are most commonly caused by sun damage (brown spots), vascular lesions (red spots), and hyperpigmentation from acne scarring.The Lumecca Treatment enhances skin composition and is usable on every zone of the body. However, our most requested areas for Lumecca are those areas normally exposed to the sun, like the face, neck, neckline, arms, hands, and legs.

Being your best self can be tiring, but we can make it effortless and easy with our sublime Spa Treatments. Dermaplaning: We offer Dermaplaning, a highly effective physical exfoliation procedure. With a sleek, surgical scalpel, we gently graze the skin, exfoliating its surface whilst removing hairs, peach fuzz, and dead skin. This treatment will benefit you, not only by deeply relaxing you but also by giving your facial skin a luminous glow and a more smooth surface. Chemical Peels: A Chemical Peel is when we lightly coat a chemical solution onto your skin, which will, in turn, replace your dead skin with fresh and new skin. This process is proven to show results, and it focuses on a broad range of skin abnormalities. These skin abnormalities range from Melasma, Crow’s Feet, aging skin, acne, and scars to sagging skin and wrinkles. At Tensegrity, we offer three types of Chemical Peels. We offer superficial peels, which are surface-level peels, medium depth peels, which travel deeper but not to a high level, and deep peels, which are a profound penetration of the skin. These three types of peels are also used to address different skin concerns. Where superficial peels are only used to treat mild skin discoloration and provide an overall refresher of the area, medium and deep peels show more dramatic improvement in your skin’s countenance.

Microneedling Treatment

Too many summers in the sun? We got you covered. Microneedlingis all the rage in the cosmetics industry, and for good reason. Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin treatment which involves using numerous tiny needles to lightly puncture the skin. This will technically cause physical trauma, but it will work in your favor, considering that the trauma will cue a deep layer of the skin, the derma, to reconstruct and refurbish. Microneedling, on top of rejuvenating the skin, helps to alleviate many skin-related concerns. Like stretch marks, rosacea, sagging skin, wrinkles, acne, and many others.
